James Leigh Pemberton
James H. Leigh-Pemberton is a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse in the United Kingdom, based in London. In this role, Mr. Leigh-Pemberton is responsible for developing the Bank's client relationships in Private Banking, Investment Banking and Asset Management in the UK. He is also a member of the EMEA Operating Committee.
Prior to his current role, Mr Leigh-Pemberton held several senior roles within the EMEA Investment Banking Department, including Head of European Investment Banking Department, Head of European Equity Capital Markets and Chairman of UK Investment Banking.
Mr. Leigh-Pemberton joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 1994. Prior to joining CSFB, Mr. Leigh-Pemberton was a Director of S.G. Warburg Securities, where he worked for 15 years. Mr. Leigh-Pemberton received his M.A. from Oxford University.
