Mentoring Award

ASDA Stores - Noor Ali, Mentor

Noor Ali is a Buyer within ASDA’s Ethnic trading team, working with over 300 ethnic suppliers to bring innovative new products into stores that meet the varied demands of their diverse customer base. Noor also champions four mentoring initiatives within the business and local community.

In the last year Noor has; mentored two colleagues within ASDA to develop their skills and talents, developed a supplier coaching programme that helps ethnic suppliers develop their product to be ‘retail ready’, become a ‘lead mentor’ in the Mosaic mentoring scheme for young women in Bradford, and continued her work with Race for Opportunity Mentoring Circles.

Impact
