Winning for Women at Britannia Building Society
Britannia Building Society was winner of the 2007 Opportunity Now Private Sector Award
'Mutual Preferences was designed with the foundations of our corporate strategy in mind. These foundations include six "Givens" which are the things that Britannia will never let go of. One of these givens is to be 'A Great Place to Work Grow and Develop' and from a diversity point of view, this means making it happen for everyone!'
Quote from Lynette Beckett, Change Manager Group People Performance and owner of the Mutual Preferences Programme, Britannia Building Society
'We are already on a journey to create a culture where diversity is not just about ways to avoid discrimination, but is used as an opportunity to enhance the experiences of both our people and our customers as individuals. Mutual Preferences is an example of this in action and we believe that highly satisfied employees are much more likely to deliver the experience that our customers deserve.'
Quote from Sarah Emery, Group Diversity Manager, Britannia Building Society
