Equal Pay in a Day

Opportunity Now in partnership with Eversheds has recently held two, one day seminars to address the perennial issue of equal pay.

With events held in both London and Leeds the seminars aimed to cover the latest legislation, issues, ideas and practices, amongst the guest  speakers were Baroness Prosser, Carolyn McCall OBE, CEO Guardian Media Group, Sheila Wild, Head of Pay Strategy, EHRC and Sarah Veale, Head, Equality and Employment Rights Department TUC .

Exemplar Employers 2007

Equal pay featured in the Exemplar Employers 2007 knowledge hub, supported by the Government Equalities Office that culminated in a series of best practice recommendations taken from 13 case studies,  from both the private and public sector, covering issues as diverse as pay principles, communication, job evaluation and competencies. rewards, bonuses , promotion and progression and providing an essential overview of the issues surrounding this emotive subject.
