Alison Platt Chairman, Opportunity Now - The woman who hopes to neuter gender prejudice

Alison Platt, Chair of Opportunity Now is featured in today's Daily Telegraph ( Thursday 25 February ).
Alison was asked if Opportunity Now is still relevent. the answer is a resounding ' yes' but the track record for gender diversity shows that the campaign is struggling. Women account for 50% of graduates but the total number of female chief executives is four.
Alison has said in the article that ' Opportuntiy Now has never been more relevent and that as we rebuild the economy, we know we are going to have to think differently about how we make the UK productive and competive again. Enabling women to play as full a role as they can in the UK is incredibly important.
